English Grammar : Simple Complex and Compound Sentence

वाक्यामध्ये असलेल्या उपवक्यांचा अस्तित्वावरून वाक्याचे तीन प्रकार पडतात.

1] Simple Sentence (केवल वाक्य)
ज्या वाक्यात एकच उद्देश व ऐकून विषेय असते त्याला Simple Sentence असे म्हणतात.

• Ex :

1] India won the match.

2] I read a book.

2] Compound Sentence (संयुक्त वाक्य)
ज्या वाक्यात दोन किवा दोनपेक्षा जास्त मुख्य उपवाक्ये असतात, त्यास compound sentence असे म्हणतात.

• And, But, Therefore, Eighter.. or Neighter… nor or, असे शब्द compound sentence मध्ये वापरतात.

• Ex : i] Ram is great and seeta is hones.

• ii] I work offfice adn the works in garden.

3] Complex Sentence (मिश्र वाक्य)

ज्या वाक्यात एक मुख्य उप्वाक्य (main clause) आणि इतर गोण उपवाक्य (subordinate clause) असते. त्य वाक्यास complex sentence असे म्हणतात.

• complex sentence मध्ये that, because, if, before, when, while, till, where, which, who, though, although इ. शब्द वापरतात.

Ex :

1] Ram is late because be is ill.
2] I visited place where I staudied.
